Hi, I am Bob Ashauer, your site host.  I’d like you to consider me as your personal Realtor.  Please let me and my East of the Arch Team be “your people” in Real  Estate.

What can you expect from me as your Realtor?

My goal in Real Estate is to provide you with professional service you can trust.  It’s not about doing deals or making sales.  My job is to do the work that makes it easy for you to buy, sell and own real estate in this great American market, where private ownership of property is a wonderful privilege.

I was born and raised in  Edwardsville, and now reside on Dunlap Lake.  I know the neighborhoods, the cities and the history of our area; and I know real estate.  I will advise you on the quality of life you can expect and the value of property that interests you.

Put my experience to work for you.  I retired from a career with the Federal Aviation Administration before I entered Real Estate.  I learned a work ethic of being there when needed.  My roles required professional ethics, skilled negotiations, problem solving and just getting to the bottom line.  As your Real Estate agent I will put your interests first.  I will represent you professionally to the many diverse parties who will affect your successful sale or purchase.

I will enable you to achieve your real estate goals.  If you drive past the Chicago O’Hare airport, that tall gleaming control tower was one of my projects. Completing  large projects on-time and under budget required extensive scheduling, tracking, risk analysis, and interventions to sustain quality and progress.  Providing honest and accurate information to the proper decision makers at the right time is a key to project management.  Your real estate transaction is a similar process.  As your agent I anticipate problems and track the hundreds of activities by others so that you can clearly focus on the decisions that will lead to a satisfying sale or purchase.

I will give you a competitive advantage.  Work in FAA depends upon the extensive use of leading edge technology.  Having all the necessary information available in real time is essential to separating aircraft.  It’s much the same in real estate.  The real estate industry today is experiencing an explosive growth in consumer information from the Internet.  I use the most advanced marketing technology available to market your property or provide you with accurate knowledge for your success in buying property.

It is personal for me.  My profession experience and skills are just the background of what I bring to you as your agent.  Serving you is a personal business for me, based upon honesty and trust.  Real Estate is about realizing dreams and having wonderful emotional experiences as we buy, sell and own property.  I do the work that will keep it that way for you.
