Search Hints

There are many ways to search for homes listed for sale.  I have been doing it for years, and still learn something every day.  First, you can find all available homes listed in the MLS from this site, and the data is very current.  If you can’t find a particular home you know about, there is a reason.  It may be under contract, or temporarily withdrawn at the owners’ request.  Don’t hesitate to contact me(info@eastofthearch.com) to research any question you have or difficulty you experience.

Let me encourage you to try a new feature – the map based search. Remember the saying “location, location, location!”  Just click on Property Search or More Properties, without entering any data, and then select map. All the cities in our coverage area will be displayed.  Learn to navigate the map location.  Be patient, the computer is finding every home for your current map view, and it may take a moment to catch up with you. As you zoom in on an area, try the satellite view for homes.  It gives you much more information about a home than just a picture of the front of the house.  Looking for lake front homes?  Homes in the country with no neighbors?  Subdivisions with nice locations?  It’s never been easier!
